It is in the terminal station of Nagano Line and is a gateway of Yudanaka Shibu Onsenkyo. Even the whole country where day trip bath facility of "gravity-feed irrigation" of Yamanouchi-machi has "hot water of maple" next to old station building, and hot spring and station coexist is station where it is unusual. When train arrives, "beautiful Shiga Kogen" which is melody of local connection (words So Nishizawa / composition Masao Koga) heaps up flow, travel emotions. Old station building left from opening of business those days is appointed in "registration tangible cultural property" of country and changes the name to "hall of maple", and it is in place of recreation and relaxation for people as gallery and rest area.

  • Jigokudani Wild Monkey park
    Tourist attraction that can observe state that wild Japanese monkey enters hot spring. It is popular among tourists coming from foreign countries. Route bus approximately ten minutes "Kanbayashi Onsen" or "Kanbayashi Onsen Exit" getting off + approximately 30 minutes on foot.
  • YUDANAKA Ekimae Onsen "hot water of maple"
    Spa facility "bath of YUDANAKA Ekimae Onsen maple" which was next to Yudanaka Station managed by Yamanouchi-machi. Since opening of April, 2003, it is used as new famous spot of station by many people.
  • Shibu Onsen town
    Hot-spring resort of stone pavement full of atmosphere. All accommodations are natural hot springs flowing constantly from the source and can enjoy visiting public baths. Approximately 40 minutes on foot.
  • World peace Goddess of Mercy Bodhisattva
    Principal idol is famous for 25 meters and statue of bronze Goddess of Mercy Bodhisattva made of one of the world's largest bronze as famous place of cherry tree representing YUDANAKA. Approximately 24 minutes on foot.
  • Seat King Shrine
    In seat King Shrine, there is Ishibotoke assumed deity of birth, child care koju keno God, of local people is believed deeply. Approximately 8 minutes on foot.
  • Movement rock
    Shinto shrine "Yuguu Shrine" of Suwa Corporation who is adjacent to bath of YUDANAKA waterfall. Strangely shaped rocks mysterious stone piles on top of heiryo of the Shinto shrine back, and moving rock exists strangely there. It works shakily when we push lightly. Approximately 5 minutes on foot.
